How long does it take: for a flower in bloom to wilt? for wood to turn to stone? for the vigor of youth to fade to the debility of age? for ardent love to fade to tolerance? for the battle to be theatrics? for pride to turn to shame? for brass to tarnish? for silver to turn black? for change to seem static? for hope to turn to disillionment?
